I have a new baby to introduce to you. It's not chubby and it doesn't blow bubbles like most of the babies I show on this blog, but I'm still totally in love with it:
That's right; I got a new camera! Because I'm SO excited, I'm hosting a GIVEAWAY! [cue cheers].
So what am I giving away? A totally free session - no strings attached. Just a free photo session with me (and my new camera, of course) in the Athens area. No obligation to buy any prints or anything. In fact, I'll throw in a FREE 8x10 print of your choice!
Here are the details: To enter, just leave a comment below. Tell me how much you love me, what new products you'd like me to offer, what type of session you'd use this for, what your favorite song is or whatever you want - just enter! You must be available to travel to the Athens area August 2, 8 or 9 for the session.
To get extra entries: Get one additional entry if you blog about the giveaway (be sure to include a direct link to this post) and either leave a comment or email me with your blog link OR tweet about it (again, include a direct link) and mention @heathermaynard OR become a fan (or already be one) on Facebook. Get THREE extra entries if you do all three!
All entries must be in by Tuesday, July 28 at 3 p.m. Winner will be announced Wednesday, July 29.
The fine print: Giveaway not valid on weddings or previously booked or package sessions; session limited to five people (additional people may be added for a fee).
Good luck!
-Heather Maynard, Athens, Georgia photographer
One time Heather Hodges Maynard did some mighty fine work on a picture of director, writer, comedian, and clarinetist Woody Allen. A photo op with an icon like Woody Allen? Well, I couldn't pass that up...but unforunately due to blemishes and red eye, the picture was a tad bit imperfect. In comes H&M Photography. They cleaned up those pictures in a fantastic amount of time and were incredibly helpful. What can I say? If you're getting married let Heather document the occasion through photos.

Heather, you have been taking my pictures since Luke and I got engaged. We have had you do our wedding pictures, newborn pictures when Logan was born and multiple family picture sessions since. You have done a fantastic job of capturing the special moments in my life and I am looking forward to you taking many more photos of my family as it grows. I can always count on you to take the best pictures, and I am always telling my friends about you and your great photos.

You took pictures of my son JP when you had the Easter bunnies in the Spring- while he was initially shy, he then wanted to love on the bunnies and not leave! How would I use the session - for Christmas cards, to document his fourth birthday, for family pictures....I could think of a million reasons! Thanks for the opportunity!

Once, about 100 years ago, I did the Heimlich maneuver on your husband. :o) No cute kids or cute dogs so you should definitely pick someone else; I just got into the spirit of the game! I vote for the Cashs, Pilgrims, or the Chitwoods (but I might be a tad biased and therefore unreliable)!
You work is great! Keep making people happy with your wonderful talent!

Heather photographed my baby girl when she was 6 days old and my 6 year old daughter. They are wonderful pictures! If I won this session, I would give it to a friend who also had a baby over the summer. She has not had time to get her baby boy photographed because they have had a rough time.
